Well it’s been a long time coming, about 19 years actually but hey who’s counting!

We first registered the Mermaid Fabrics domain name and set up our web site back in 2000 with every intention of maximising the potential it offered but unfortunately business, time and life got in the way and it was dormant for a number of years. Then in 2012 (I think) we updated the site and it looked nice a fresh, for the time, giving all the relevant information you would need to contact or find us to get your fabulous deals on our very reasonable fabrics and haberdashery items.

Over the last few years we have had a number of issues which have drained many hours, caused us much pain and difficulty but now we feel it’s time to push forward and get our website working for us and you our beloved customers.

So we have totally redesigned our web site and will be integrating an online shop which will enable you to purchase items from our large and ever growing stock from the comfort of your own home.

There are still some small issues we need to iron out but we hope you agree that this is a wonderful idea and support us with our new endeavour.
